Group boxes
How do I add factors to group boxes?
-
Have you noticed that sometimes the factors in your diagrams have dashed lines when they are inside a group box? This means that they are "grouped" and they now have all the relational properties of the group box and the other factors in the group box.
To add factors to a group box, you first need to unlock the group box. Click on the group box and toggle the lock icon in the upper left to the unlocked setting.

Select the factors you want to include in the group and drag them over the top of the group box. The borders of the factors will switch to a dashed line once they are successfully added to the group.
Lock the box to prevent any factors from being unintentionally added to the box.
Note that group boxes can only contain factors of one type. The first factor that you add to a group box defines the factor type of members of the group box; after that, only factors of the same type can be added.
