In Miradi, there are two separate lists of people; people with access to view or edit Miradi content, and people who are part of the broader conservation effort.
- The Miradi Project Members or Miradi Program Members can view and edit Miradi data, depending on what level of access they have. These are people who have Miradi accounts and have been added to the project or program in Miradi Share. They may or may not have anything to do with implementing strategies and activities in the conservation projects.
- The Team and Partners refers to the wider group of people, workgroups, organizations, and other partners that are involved in implementing strategies and activities or have an interest in the conservation project. People or groups from this list can be assigned to a strategy or activity in a project, or included in reports that list all project partners. These people may or may not work with project data in Miradi.
These two lists are completely separate in Miradi. If you add someone as a Miradi project editor or project viewer, they are not added to the list of people that can be assigned to actions. Similarly, if you add someone to the list of people that can be assigned to actions, they will not get a Miradi account or get access to the Miradi project or program. If someone both needs Miradi access and to be assigned to actions, you will need to add them in both places.
- Miradi Access: If a person needs to view or work with project or program data in Miradi, they will first need to create a Miradi account, and then they will need to be added as a Miradi project member and / or added as a Miradi program member.
- Team & Partners: If the person, group, or partner is involved in the project as an implementing partner or interested party but does not need access to view or edit the Miradi project, learn how to add them to Team & Partners.
