Your AI agent can read and update your Miradi Share projects for you. You ask in plain language. The agent signs in as you and uses only your permissions.
This feature is a beta preview. It is available to beta testers only. To get access, contact us.
Before you start
You need:
- A Miradi Share account with beta access.
- An AI agent that can run commands and connect to the internet. See "Which agents work" below.
- Access for your agent to these two web addresses:
miradishare.organdauth.miradishare.org.
Step 1: Get the skill
The skill is a small file that tells your agent how to use Miradi Share.
- Sign in to Miradi Share.
- Go to Tools.
- Click Download skill. You get a zip file.
Your agent cannot download the skill itself. The download needs your Miradi Share sign-in.
Step 2: Add the skill to your agent
Claude Desktop app and claude.ai (paid plans)
- Go to Settings > Capabilities.
- Make sure code execution is on.
- In the network settings, add
miradishare.organdauth.miradishare.org. On a Team or Enterprise plan, your admin may have to do this. - Go to Customize > Skills. Click +, then Upload. Select the zip file.
If the skill is not available in a new chat, attach the zip file to the chat.
ChatGPT
- Use Work mode. Normal chat cannot reach the Miradi Share sign-in page.
- Attach the zip file to the chat.
Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor and other agents on your computer
- Unzip the file into a folder.
- Tell your agent: "Read SKILL.md in this folder and use it for Miradi Share."
Claude Code also loads skills automatically from its skills folder. See the Claude Code documentation.
Step 3: Sign in
Do this at the start of each chat.
- Ask your agent: "Sign me in to Miradi Share and list my projects."
- Your agent shows a link and a code.
- Open the link in your web browser. Make sure the code is the same. Approve the sign-in.
- Do this within 5 minutes. If the link expires, ask your agent to start again.
- Your agent tells you which account it signed in as. Make sure it is your account.
Your agent never needs your password. Type your password only on the Miradi Share sign-in page.
Example requests
Find and review:
- "List my projects."
- "Find the project called Coastal Wetlands."
- "Summarize the targets, threats and strategies in this project."
- "How are the conservation targets doing? Show the viability ratings."
- "Trace the results chain for this strategy."
Compare across a program:
- "Which threats are rated highest across the projects in my program?"
- "List the indicators in my program that have no measurement this year."
Update:
- "Add a measurement of 42 to the indicator 'Number of nesting pairs', dated today."
- "Add a progress report to this activity: on track, field work done."
- "Create a new project in my program from the program template."
Check your agent's work
Your agent can change your data. It has the same edit rights as you.
- Ask your agent to show what it plans to change before it writes.
- Read the plan. Then approve it.
- After a change, open the project in Miradi Share and check the result.
- If a project is checked out to Miradi Desktop, your agent cannot change it.
Your data and privacy
- Your agent sees only the data that your account can see.
- When your agent reads your Miradi data, it sends that data to your AI provider (for example, Anthropic, OpenAI or Google). Their terms and your organization's policies apply.

|---|---|
| The agent says the network or site is blocked. | Add miradishare.org and auth.miradishare.org to your agent's network settings. |
| The agent cannot download the skill. | Download it yourself from the Tools page, then give it to the agent. |
| The sign-in link expired. | Ask your agent to sign you in again. Approve within 5 minutes. |
| Your passkey does not work on the sign-in page. | The link opened in the agent's built-in browser. Open the link in your normal web browser. |
| Error E00204: "API v2 preview is available to beta testers." | Your account does not have beta access. Contact us. |
| The agent cannot change a project. | The project is checked out to Miradi Desktop, or you do not have edit rights. Ask the project team. |
| The agent signed in as the wrong account. | Sign out of Miradi Share in your browser. Then ask the agent to sign you in again. |
