Miradi users with a Team Plan who manage their Miradi projects within a Miradi Share Program space (as a program manager or admin) are eligible to access the Miradi API (Application Programming Interface).
The Miradi API provides read-only access to Miradi Share projects and their contents. The API can also deliver Miradi Share project data for use by Microsoft’s Power BI (see below).
Technical details: The Miradi API is a web-based API, RESTful in nature and enables the caller to navigate via URIs to Miradi Share project factors and their related entities. The API is secured via a Bearer token that is issued by the Keystone Identity Management platform. API documentation can be found on Apiary.
Please contact us if you are interested in using the Miradi API for your program space. (Note that you will need Program Admin permissions or higher to use the API)
Create online, interactive dashboards using Miradi's API and Microsoft Power BI
In addition to the Miradi API we also provide a Power BI data adapter – this provides a Miradi Share data source within Power BI (that wraps calls to the underlying API).
Using Microsoft Power BI, teams can create online, interactive dashboards displaying data from one or more Miradi projects, or combine data from Miradi and other systems. For example, the below Power BI dashboard created by a Miradi user displays Target Viability data from multiple Miradi projects.
Note: The dashboard was created in Microsoft Power BI, not in Miradi.
Please contact us for more information about the Power BI data adapter and the Miradi Power BI template.
